Organizations of which the URCNA is a member

North American Presbyterian and Reformed Council
From the website:
"Confessing Jesus Christ as only Savior and Sovereign Lord over all of life, we affirm the basis of the fellowship of Presbyterian and Reformed Churches to be full commitment to the Bible in its entirety as the Word of God written, without error in all its parts and to its teaching as set forth in the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms."

The International Conference of Reformed Churches
From the website:
"The ICRC is a conference of Reformed Churches around the world held once every four years."

Churches with which the URCNA has formal Ecumenical Relations

Canadian and American Reformed Churches
From the website:
"We're a federation of sixty-five churches, most of which are in Canada and a few in the United States. Our churches are rooted in the Great Reformation of the sixteenth century. Our aim is to exalt the Triune God by faithfully proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ."

L’Église Réformée du Québec (ERQ)
From the website:
"The Reformed Church of Québec is a Church recognised as such by other Christian churches. We are not a sect, pretending to be the sole holders of the truth, nor do we claim to be closer to God than other Christians. We share with all other Christians a common inheritance of which we are proud. Our specific identity is that of being Reformed, which means we are descendants of the Church Reformation that took place in the 16th century in most European countries. Moreover, the Lord’s Church is in constant need of reforming its faith and actions in the light of the Bible."

Orthodox Presbyterian Church
From the website:
"In nearly eight decades since its founding, the OPC has slowly grown to over 30,000 members in over 300 churches throughout the United States and Canada. It has been vigorous in its defense and propagation of the historic Reformed faith as expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms."

Reformed Church in the United States
From the website:
"The Reformed Church in the United States (RCUS) is a communion of Christian churches in the Reformed tradition. We stand on the great Reformation principles of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to the Scriptures alone, to the glory of God alone."

Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America
From the website:
"In 1743 the first Reformed Presbyterian congregation was organized in North America. In this continent, too, the Kingship of Christ has been maintained as a foundational principle of our denomination. Today, congregations reach all across North America."

What We Believe

We believe the church possesses a spiritual unity in Christ and in the Holy Scriptures. Therefore, the churches of our federation unite with other like-minded churches. We display our unity by means of a common confession.
