Accommodations
Booking accommodations for Synod is the responsibility of the delegates themselves, separate from the Synod Registration process.
Special rates are negotiated at the recommended hotel(s).

Synod Venue
All sessions and committee meetings of Synod Calgary 2026 took place at the Best Western Premier in Calgary.
Dining
Lunches, snacks and dinners were served on site in the Conference Centre. On Tuesday through Thursday there were two meals, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks, available for delegates and those guests who sign up for these meals. All meals required prior registration. Breakfast is part of the accommodation fee and was served for those staying at the Conference Centre. If not lodging at the Conference Centre, breakfast was each delegate's own responsibility.
Meetings
All meetings were held at the Conference Centre.
"The Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre is one of the largest meeting venues in Calgary. The event space is over 30,000 square feet spanning into 18 individual meeting rooms, all located on the main floor. All meeting spaces also have access to complimentary Wi-Fi connections, remote lighting control, business centre, and on-site audiovisual support." --from the venue website
Transportation
Flights were to Calgary International Airport. The hotel is approximately 15 to 20 min from the airport. The Conference Centre offers a shuttle service from and to the airport at a cost of $5 per trip. The shuttle must be booked in advance. Contact information can be found [HERE] (opens in new page).
Note that the overflow hotel (Four Points by Sheraton) offers a free shuttle from and to the airport.
Scheduled Outing
Optional Spouse Outing: Banff Meander/Town Excursion - Tuesday June 9, 2026 - $40 CND ($29 USD) to cover transportation and park pass. Participants left the conference centre at 9:00am and returned to Calgary by 5:00pm. Participants were encouraged to bring monies for lunch.
